No Comm freq. in FSX **SOLVED**
« on: September 05, 2017, 05:20:44 pm »
Hi all,

So I edited the KORD AFCAD parking to my own personnel preferences using ADE. I have both FSX and P3Dv4 installed, so I assume both sims share the same AFCAD installed in the addon manager folder. In P3Dv4, everything works fine. In FSX, I have no comm frequencies in the ATC menu (see attachment). I also have no AI traffic, and KORD does not show in the "nearest airport" list in the ATC menu. Any ideas on what happened?

They surely do. There's only one folder for the scenery, with just one AFCAD.

That seems to indicate in P3D V4 you don't have a conflicting file coming from another scenery or product, that you have in FSX. Try to use the free Simple Airport Scanner utility, to search for any AFCAD conflicts in FSX.

I did the search, and did not come up with any duplicates.

Now I replaced my customized AFCAD with the original, and all is fine in FSX. ADE must have done something in the compilation. Strange that it affected FSX, but not P3Dv4.
