AFCAD issue or Not???
« on: April 02, 2009, 03:00:22 am »
Virtuali/Staff,

I was trying out LSGG today and noticed this on the runway...  :o :-[ :'(
I have downloaded and installed LSGG v1.1; is there a fix for this, somewhere?

Any assistance here would be appreciated.

Thank you very much.
Sincerely,

And what makes you think this is a BUG ?

Virtuali,
 :o I stand corrected ...
What is it for ???  I've never seen that in any european airport publication or for that matter in our A.I.M.'s.  I see from your link that there are two of them on the runway.  I'm going to look it up; officially.

PS: My PM was NOT an April Fool's Joke...  ;)

EDIT:
(Found out that through your PDF Manual that this is a Single-Engine Touch Down Marker of sorts; NOT 100% sure because we don't use this convention in the U.S. and it doesn't seem to be a European one either; perhaps only Swiss.  I'll talk to some Senior Capt. collegues who have flown out to that region to confirm; it's never been my route).
