Catering request crashes GSX
« on: August 13, 2017, 02:33:01 pm »
Hi Umberto,

I'm parked at Mega Airport Rome (LIRF) gate 707 in Concorde at 13:25UT. I requested a catering vehicle after the pax were deboarded and a short time later got this message. Any ideas? I did change the GSX gate from Marshaller to SafeDock. P3D v3.4.

The error seems to indicate there's a problem with the scenery AFCAD, like orphaned nodes, overlapping nodes or something like that, so GSX couldn't calculate a path for the vehicle correctly.

I'm sure if you run the scenery AFCAD through the ADE "Fault finder" menu, you'll find several issues with it, which would be best to be reported to the scenery developers.

Thanks Umberto. When this is commercial scenery it really annoys me. Clean AFCADs seem to be their lowest priority. I'll report it to Aerosoft after a fault check.
Cheers,
Ray.

Umberto,

I've run the AFCAD through ADE and can't find anything that might cause this problem. I'm attaching it so you can run your expert eye over it.
Cheers,
Ray.

Umberto,

You suggested my crash was because of a possible problem with the AFCAD. I've attached it as I can't see anything wrong with it. If you can please advise. Otherwise, what is the problem?
Cheers,
Ray.

I still haven't looked at it. I'm on vacation until August 22th so, please excuse a slower response time than usual.
