XPOI Does Not Work

I have a problem with your EXE.XML. It does not load my GOFlight panel. It does allow XPOI to function. Can you revise EXE.XML to allow both XPOI & GOFlight to function. Here is the GOFlight EXE>XML:

There's no reasons why the XML I've edit wouldn't load the GoFlight. You must have made some kind of mistake and not using the correct files.

As I've said, just edit the the file with Notepad and change this line

<CommandLine />

to become like this:

<CommandLine></CommandLine>

OR, just remove the line, the end result it's exactly the same: it's an empty tag, so it doesn't matter at all.


Then run XPOI installer again.


OR, if you can't edit it yourself, you can try this:

- delete the EXE.XML file.

- run the XPOI installer, if there's no EXE.XML the installer will recreate a correct one

- verify XPOI works

- run the GoFlight installer

by me the problem is that the "XPOI Settings.." menu is missing. I have only the "Key mappings.." menu under the Couatl plug-in and nothing happens when I click on it. The
I've un and reinstalled as suggested, cleaned the exe.xml but no succes.

If you see the "Couatl powered plugins" menu, but not the "XPOI settings" menu, it means the software is working and the Couatl engine is working so, there's no need to check the EXE.XML because, if there was a problem with it, you wouldn't see any menu at all.

So, if you are missing only the XPOI menu, it means XPOI is not installed. You must have made some kind of mistake when uninstalling.

Try to do the following, only the following, and don't do anything else:

- Uninstall XPOI and reply YES to the question of removing the Addon Manager, and reply YES to the question about removing the Couatl engine.

- Go to the FSX\fsdreamteam\Couatl folder, and check the XPOI folder has been removed. If not, remove it manually.

- Reinstall XPOI, and check if you see both menus, and XPOI of course.

If you still don't see them, check if you have a Couatl.err file in the following folder:

%APPDATA%\virtuali

and see if there are any error messages inside.
