tried again with fsdt live update but still don't see the fix working on p3dv4 kdfw.

is there a log file generated by live update to see which files were updated?

You must generate the log manually but, it's useless if the files are already updated, so you are still getting the elevation problem for some other reason, like another scenery in conflict.

The only sure way to check if your file is updated, is to check the MD5 of the KDFW_Platform.bgl file, which is the only file needed to fix the problem. You must use an MD5 check utility, and check if the MD5 of the file starts with 21A8. If it does, it's the latest version, and your elevation problem, which is now fixed, is caused by something else, not by the scenery.

ran md5 hash on the file, starts with 21a8.

the file's last modified date is 9/1/2010.

i don't have any scenery mods on this p3dv4 install, (dfw photoreal on/off) so i'm totally at a loss as to why this is happening.

That's the old one. And yes, 21A8 MD5 is the old hash, sorry for the confusion. Run the FSDT Live Update again now.

thanks, the update fixed the 35L.

however, not to be too picky, but midway down 35R, there's an area where the runway sinks by 1' or so causing a bump.  looks like there's a seam across the area.  both ends are ok. just around the midway point.

Hi,
I am having this issue in P3D v4. I have the latest update.
It occurs also in the tarmac and not only on the runways.
