CVN-78 underway

US Navy's newest aircraft carrier USS Gearld Ford CVN-78 underway today 4-8-17 for builders sea trials, which will be followed by acceptance sea trials by the Navy.

You ever see pics of the Navy sea trials? I have. They get going fast as heck, like 90+ knots. Rooster tail above the flight deck. And the way they heel over in corners is amazing. A carrier at 45° or more heel in a corner is amazing. And to see people standing on the flight deck as it heels over...WOOFTA!

I have seen it (and felt it on Coral Sea CV-43), it's a wild ride to say the least, looking forward to the pics of CVN-78 doing this when they are released.
