Reset position

I was parked in a SW 737 at a jetway (extended) the fuel truck and roach coach came and went, the I saw this position reset and when I selected that
Poof, the plane went to some runway at KMEM and the addon options related to GSX were missing. Only way I could get them (drop down optiond)back was to restart FSX/A.
I'm speaking about the CTRL + F12 and Shift+Ctrl+ 12 - they were not functioning - not there.

And this was because I picked the reset option in the GSX menu.

As explained in the manual, the Reset option should be used sparingly, because it's supposed to be an emergency function when something goes wrong with GSX, and you are stuck without being able to proceed.

We know that sometimes the Reset doesn't restart, and we are trying to understand why, because it's difficult to reproduce.
