update of KMEM and SODE
« on: February 12, 2017, 03:52:20 pm »
Hi, I reinstalled a new version of KMEM. Unfortunately jet ways do not work (saying SODE is not installed).
Is that standard and need to install somehow separately ? (it worked before....)
Also during landing I have some minor stutters (despite FPS is OK....). Is it somehow linked with set-up of pre-rendered frames ? Any reco for tuning ?
many thanks !
JM

SODE is included in the KMEM installer, and you should have seen it installing it. Have you clicked the "Register" button in the SODE Platform Manager, when the page came up ?

OK, many thanks. Works now !
How about micro stutters during landing (still keeping 30 fps), anything which could help fine-tuning ?
many thanks !

With FSX, changing pre-rendered frames to 1 might help with some micro-stuttering. With P3D, we used native P3D objects, which give us a much smoother experience.
