Hi All,

I had this problem yesterday after updating GSX, KMEM and the Addon Manager. I solved my problem by copying over an older copy of the bglman.dat, bglmanx.dll, bglmanx_fsdt.dat files into the P3D root folder. I did noticed the blgmanx.dll which was there after installing the update was 3.7mb the older 2mb. Back in business! ;)

JJ

Mind sharing a copy for the rest of us to use? Thanks!

I did it, and I get an error message: bglmanx.dll is outdated and no building in scenery.

I just went through my email and installed the beta version of 1.9.9.10 works fine now but no sceneries work. At least my sim works though.

It's pretty well known that Umberto rarely checks in on weekends.

Seeing that weekends are the busiest time for flight simmers, probably not in their best interest to close down support.

I hope the company hasn't gone under

Yes, each time I don't reply on a Saturday night, FSDT goes under...I really hope I'll never have to take a real vacation...

Ya getting constant crashing with COATL now. Downloaded addon manager and installed several times.

It seems you had installed XPOI at some time, then you might have removed it not using its uninstaller, so the program tried to update it, but its objects are not there anymore.

If you want to use XPOI, install it. If you don't want to use it anymore, remove the XPOI folder from the FSX\fsdreamteam\Couatl\ folder.

Dear Admin! I have same problem, and I never used XPOI. I have XPOI folder in my P3D/fsdreamteam/couatl folder, but that is empty. I think if many people can't use FSDT and Flightbeam scenery, the problem is in the GSX or KMEM update.

Hi Umberto, thanks for the information. I was trying the simconnect fix the other day and when I deleted the Winssx simconnect x86microsoft flight simulator 62159 file I could not put it back into the windows folder. So I have reinstalled FSX and was wondering if Acceleration reinstalls the file because I do not see it in the folder. Is it a windows installed file or does the FSX install it. Do I need the file to run FSDT and or FSX? I will be reinstalling all of my addons next.

Regards

I have XPOI folder in my P3D/fsdreamteam/couatl folder, but that is empty.

If the folder is empty, it's not possible you would get that error so, you must have another problem now. However, REMOVE it anyway. And do it while the sim is not running.

Hi Umberto, how soon can FSDT issue a patch or an update to fix this please?

We'll surely update the installers to make a clean up of unused folders but, are you sure you want to wait for that ? If you don't have XPOI and you have that error, just remove the XPOI folder from the FSX\fsdreamteam\Couatl\ folder manually.

I had the same problem which could be resolved by either installing XPOI in trial mode or deinstalling it afterwards and thus removing the folder. But i had never installed XPOI in the first place and never had this problem after updating the addon manager before. For whatever reason updating the addon manager created the XPOI folder with some files in it. Could you please have a look into that. Thanks.

WHICH problem ?

The one that gives an error while creating an XPOI object, which can be fixed (as discussed here and in other threads) by removing the XPOI folder from the FSX\fsdreamteam\couatl folder ?

Or another problem, like a crash ? Or the modules simply not appearing ?
