Gate Marshall parking aircraft too far forward.
« on: January 11, 2017, 01:13:28 pm »

FSX Default 737-800

The gate Marshall always parks me too far forward causing the jetway not to operate until I pushback to a suitable distance.

Is there a setting to correct this please?

Good day,

I also experience same issue. The solution is to go to customization parking and edit the stop point for the aircraft for each parking spot you wish to change.
Following is the configuration of FSX and GSX.
1.FSX STEAM EDITION
2.REX extreme with overdrive installed.
3.REX World Wide Airport HD texture installed
3.Using default airport scenery across all airports in FSX.
4. GSX has been updated to the latest version.

I suggest reading the chapter at Page 43 of the GSX manual named "Understanding the Stop position", which explains why this is not really a GSX issue, but rather a limitation of the AFCAD system, and how GSX can be customized to prevent it.
