Establish parking position - maybe a future option?

Often with add-on airports GSX positions the aircraft too far in towards the terminal and the jetway has to wrap itself in circles to connect, well sort of. If you re-position the aircraft so it is in the correct place then GSX would activate ground services. Is it possible to add to customise airport position an option to set this as the parking spot for this gate?

Well...yes, we could add it of course.

What I fear is the scenery customization page will, at some point, become so full of options, that will be basically a replacement for ADE, to fix and override all mistakes scenery developers put in the scenery AFCAD.

At that point, if that page would become as feature-rich as ADE, wouldn't be best if you just used ADE, and fix the AFCAD directly ?

Now imagine if the GSX parking customization page would be as complex as ADE, to provide the ability to override everything, just like ADE, and you'll get my point.

With ADE being free, I really don't see the point to replicate all of its features in GSX.

That's precisely my point: why making GSX needlessly MORE complex, to replicate all features of a freeware program that works just fine ?

The point is, of course, that needlessly replicate the features of a perfectly good and always updated freeware (ADE) in GSX, would be a serious mis-allocation of our limited resources, which would be MUCH better served to add NEW features to GSX.
