P3D v3.4.18 Crash near Bend, Oregon
« on: December 22, 2016, 04:12:03 am »
Hi,

I received a series of crashes when approaching the 3 Sisters peaks near Bend, Oregon.  The only POIs I had displaying were mountains and water, with all the other categories disabled.  This is in the latest P3D v3.4 with the latest (as of yesterday 7pm CDT) Couatl/Addon Manager/whatever, as I'd only installed it that day.

I saved a bunch of crash logs before I got sick of hitting "restart" and having it crash 2 seconds later:

I have almost every piece of ORBX scenery, including PNW, and this was flying the P3D version of the A2A Cherokee 180.  All addons are native P3D.

Any ideas?

The problem happened because there are some glaciers in the area, and you had the "water" category enabled. This POI class is supported on Geonames.org, but we never made the XPOI icons for it:

If you download the updated XPOI installer now, the icons has been added, so the program will not crash anymore.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot!  I'll only post back if it doesn't work.
