New PC - Reinstall of all Hawaiian Apts - Best Approach

Hi guys.
I have a new high end PC and have FSX and P3Dv3.4 installed and have been adding all my payware addons over time.

I have the three Hawaiian series of apts. and want to do a reinstall.
I see in my records that there is the update to vol1 to v1.7.2 and to vol 2 to v1.4.1.

What is the best way to do the reinstall?  Should I just download a new installer and go from there?  Is the new installed designed to be both for FSX and P3D? Are the updates included in a new installer?  Should I use my old installers?

Please advice.

 Always download the newest installers right from FSDT and simply install to both sims. That's all there is to it!
