Hi,

I have a problem with JFK and ORD. Since some days they disappears every few seconds. Together with buildings and ground textures.
I have installed UT USA/Canada. Could this be the reason?

I hope you can help me!

Wish you nice christmas days Smiley

I highly doubt it.  I have UT USA, UT Canada/Alaska, UT Europe, FSGenesis World, and BirdsEyeView (all 5), and FSDT sceneries show up just fine.

Okay, but what could be the reason for this? Is it recommended to reinstall the sceneries?

Have you tried with ANOTHER airplane ? Because I seems to remember that a particular A320 (not sure which one), had a bug that wrote some values in the memory area reserved for the scenery, and that makes it incompatible with all our products.

You're right. This was the issue! Is there any solution to solve the problem? That is really bad for me because I'm flying  most time with Overland A320 Sad

Thanks for your kind help!

The only solution would tell the people who made the airplane why they need to write in a memory area reseved for sceneries (I really can't think of any reason for doing this) and ask them to stop doing this. I don't think anyone would like if we instead started to write over the *airplanes* variables, instead...

What positions are these airports in your scenery library?  Addons should always be higher than defaults.

Another free A320 ? I guess both are using the same set of gauges, which obviously is the only part of an airplane that could create such problem.

This was already explained: there are a couple of A320 around (but now I really think the culprit is just a single gauge) that, for unknown reasons, write their own stuff into the reserved memory area for sceneries, something that doesn't make any sense to do, considering a C gauge has the whole PC memory for use.

No. The demo mode works absolutely fine. The problem is that airplane gauge. I wonder how airplane designers would react if we started to write funny stuff into THEIR memory area...we'll probably get the blame (and with good reasons) immediately.
