Active Sky Next Not Working
« on: June 19, 2016, 08:22:27 pm »
Hello, When I updated the new KIAH with SODE Jetways, my Active Sky Next weather is always the same at KIAH. The wind is always calm and the altimeter is always 29.94.  The the other airports, the weather, winds and altimeter changes as it should.

Nothing in our software has any interaction with weather.

Ok...I uninstalled and reinstalled it again and appears to be working correctly, except for the xrwys. I did one flight and the xrwys were active. When I flew back, it was only using 33R/33L for landing and departing. I restarted FSX-SE and the xrwys still were not active. Its only using 33L/33R or 15L/15R for landing and departing. This is only occurring at KIAH and I have all of the yalls airports.

There aren't any xrwyx in KIAH.

Assuming that with "xrwys" you mean the method of fake runways spaced 7 degrees one from the other, to cover the difference in heading between two main runway, also known as "star technique".

Since we haven't used it in the KIAH AFCAD, it's normal the sim would prefer the longest runways with an ILS (15s/33s), UNLESS the tailwind component is too high to use them.

Yeah, but before this update, it was using 15L/R for take offs and 27, 26L/R or 9, 8L/R for landings as they do in the real world.

We haven't changed anything in the AFCAD related to runways. The only change was to remove default jetways, to be replaced by SODE ones.
