aircraft in wrong position **SOLVED**
« on: December 23, 2015, 01:11:08 pm »
First - happy holidays and thank you for the add-on manager update for P3d 3.1.

Not sure if this is part of the CYVR scenery or a result of My Traffic AI add-on.
I would like to remove it.

That's your traffic add on... And it will conflict with ANY addon airport you have. MyTraffic adds in hundreds of airport files for default scenery, you simply need to remove the file for CYVR.

I also see you have the bad shadows. Have a look here for a fix:

Thanks for the reply Dave. I have never played with MyTraffic, but I will manage.

Hello Dave,
Is the file you are referring to this one? E:\MyTraffic Professional\MyTraffic\Scenery\BR2_CYVR.BGL.
I changed the extension to .off but still have that airplane smack in the terminal. Do I have to remove it totally (as you suggested?) instead of just changing the extension?

Thanks

That looks like it is probably the correct file, try removing it from the scenery folder and then relaunch the sim.

No joy. This aircraft is still there without the file. Could it be an ORBX file? I have turned off the PNW files for CYVR CVX and BLG to .off.

Interesting, for FTX PNW you want to disable or remove three files for CYVR  ADE_FTX_PNW_CYVR_Vancouver_Intl.BGL, ADE_FTX_PNW_CYVR_Vancouver_Intl_CVX.bgl and FTX_PNW_objects_CYVR_PLC.bgl. But if you have already done that then it could be some other file that you have added.
Maybe take a screen shot of your traffic parking at YVR so we can see, that might give us some idea.

Not sure if I'm following you on how do you remove them. Select the 3 files and then move them outside of the scenery folder that they currently reside in. Or you can also add the extension .OFF to the end of the filenames listed above.

Got it, thanx.  Works great, planes are lined up correctly at the gate.
