KLAX is one of our BEST sceneries, when fps is concerned, considering the size of the airport, ESPECIALLY under P3D. In fact, it works so much fast on P3D, that I wouldn't suggest to use it on anything else.
The reason of your fps drop cannot have anything to do with KLAX, most likely it's traffic. What frame rate you have with AI traffic disabled ?
