« on: October 14, 2015, 09:28:26 pm »
Quick question:

I plan on buying GSX. I recently moved to P3Dv3.
OK to buy now or wait for new installer?

Great job on YVR  :D

I know it is stated above but the FSDT website clearly states that GSX is FSX only.  I wish to purchase for P3DV3 is there a separate product or is the advertising wrong ?

Many thanks

The FSDT website clearly states GSX is for FSX and P3D:

http://www.fsdreamteam.com/products_gsx.html

System Requirements:

GSX is compatible with FSX+SP2 minimum, or FSX+Acceleration Pack or Lookheed Martin Prepar3D

There's no separate purchase for P3D. The same FSDT website says that too:

The price include license to use both the FSX and the Prepar3D version.

And of course, the one single "Download" button, which is the only Download button on the FSDT site says:

"Download for FSX/P3D"

The FSDT website is correct. You were not on the FSDT website, but on Esellerate's site, and that description is not updated as often as the one on the FSDT, because new versions of the sim keep coming out.

Of course, since the program is available in TRIAL, so you are supposed to Install it and THEN purchase it, it would have been obviously, from the installer Download and from the installer itself, which starts with a splash screen that allows you to select WHICH sim you want to install into, that FSX, FSX:SE, P3D V1, P3D V2 and P3D V3, are ALL supported with the same installer.
