It just does not work . I did exactly as instructed one by one

Then it means your system has a configuration problem, either a system library is missing, or you have another similar problem. Fact you don't have an antivirus installed, shouldn't discount the chance you might have a virus instead, which is corrupting executables, like our module.

Is your Windows fully patched with all the Service packs and all the latest updates ?

Try if the problem might be related to missing c++ runtimes, - Go in the Windows control panel, and Uninstall ALL the istances of the Visual Studio 2005 redistributable runtimes. You might have more than one version, remove them all.

- Then, after removing everything related to VS2005, reinstall again these 3 files:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=766a6af7-ec73-40ff-b072-9112bab119c2&displaylang=en

Also, when you see the error, don't worry if FSX crashes, ALWAYS ALLOW to run the module.

- If it doesn't work, try again 2-3 times, ALWAYS ALLOW to run the module.

- If it doesn't work, try to do it again, after a Windows reboot.

Norton 360 Antivirus is now installed and all files scanned. No viruses found.

Try to download this file:

http://www.fsdreamteam.com/download/setup/bglmanx/4053/bglmanx.dll

Put into the FSX main folder, overwriting the one that is already there, and see if it makes any difference.

Norton 360 Antivirus is now installed and all files scanned. No viruses found.

Sorry, but Norton it's probably the worse offender when interfering with legit programs and causing false positives and errors like that. Best to use the free, reliable, easy to use and not interfering MS Security Essentials.

If really you want to use Norton (not suggested, it's slows down the system a lot), be sure you ALWAYS to the following when installing:

- TURN OFF your antivirus. Don't just exit from its interface, but turn off the real time protection. Actual wording changes between products, however, it's the option to scan every file that gets open in real time, without user intervention.

- Install Stand-Alone Addon Manager with the Antivirus TURNED OFF. Don't launch FSX yet.

- Configure the antivirus to exclude the following files from scanning:

YourFSXFolder\bglmanx.dll
YourFSXFolder\fsdreamteam\couatl.exe

YourFSXFolder it's usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X, if you installed it in the default folder.

- Now you can turn the antivirus back on, and launch FSX.

Check the following:

- You are not running FSX into "XP Compatibility mode" or any of the other compatibility modes in Windows 7. Right-click on the FSX.EXE, select "Properties", then select the "Compatibility" tab and be sure everything is turned off.

- Try to run FSX in Adminstrator mode

- Try turning off UAC:

- Try turning off DEP:
