Push back tugs usage
« on: August 13, 2015, 06:27:54 pm »
It would be nice if the aircraft editor would include a range of push back tugs that we could define for each aircraft. It is very wild to see a tmx 150 push an A330 or a TLD TPX-200 push a Dash8  ;D.

The vehicle constrains are indicated in the vehicle SIM.CFG file, with an expression. They are usually controlled against the airplane weight, but not all of them includes such constrains.

Which means, you can edit the file yourself, the line that checks the weight should be very obvious to find.

We'll have a look to set it ourselves, because not all of them have been set, so the have an equal (random) chance to be selected and, with the latest added vehicles, we wanted to give users the ability to see them...some users always fly always the same planes, so they might think GSX has way less vehicles than it really has...

Sorry to bring this up again, but do you have the names of these tugs? I am configuring them all to match their aircraft ratings and gates but its a little hard since I dont have a picture line up of all available tugs. So far I have the following:

Pushback =generic towbarless
Pushback_02= JBT AeroTech B1200 or close
Pushback_AS= unknown
Pushback_Small= unknown
Pushback_TLD= unknown, what TLD model?
Pushback_TMX= TLD TMX-150
Pushback_TPX unknown, what TLD TPX towbarless model? TPX-500?,TPX-200? etc

any help identifying the tugs that are modeled would be appreciated.
