Bouncing on runway 19R
« on: June 14, 2015, 01:45:28 am »
Taking off from taxiway intersection F or J on runway 19R my airplane bounces up and down violently until I get past taxiway J. Is this possible to fix?

Check you don't use a too high Mesh resolution settings, which cause FSX to interpolate using fake data, which cause artifacts, which in turn will cause bumps on the ground. Your mesh resolution shouldn't be higher than the real mesh resolution the scenery uses, good values are either 10 or 5 meters, not more.

This may help you, if you know how to use ADE - (D/L LINK).

If your problem is similar to the one I had with minor bouncing, then the Draw Flags for the taxi paths need to be reset, this is a known issue with Prepar3d v2.5. (SEE HERE)

Do you have Airport Design Editor (ADE) installed?
If so, navigate to your \fsdreamteam\KLAS\scenery folder and open up the AP_KLAS.BGL file.
Then select Taxi Links from the Lists menu, and left click on Reset Draw Flags.
Go to the File menu, select Compile and copy the newly saved file back to the \fsdreamteam\KLAS\scenery folder.
Rename the original AP_KLAS.BGL to AP_KLAS.OFF

This will only help if your problem is actually caused by this in the first place.
