Would you say the PSS 757 is near the functionality of the level-d 767? I want a 757 so much for fs9. the captain sim 757 looks amazing but i have heard its buggy, what's the PSS 757 like? Thank you.

Hi Zach,

Lot's of people disagree, but I like the PSS 757 quite a bit. I look at selecting a 757 for FS9 as choosing the lesser of evils. I have three and I rate them this way...

1. PSS 757 (available at JustFlight)
2. LDS/Posky merge
3. CaptainSim

The CaptainSim model looks fantastic and is superb for taking pictures, but very buggy and the FMC is horribly incomplete in both data and functionality. This renders it unflyable online and that means it stays in the hangar....if navigraph does start producing updates for it this may change...

The PSS has some odd quirks...rocket like thrust, engines won't start in extreme cold weather, but it flies the way you would expect and the FMC is solid. I know a couple of RW pilots who say the FMC is a very realistic representation...

The LDS/POSKY merge isn't bad at all, but to me it feels like I'm flying a 767 rather than a 757....

So for me....it's the PSS and I've had lots of enjoyable hours with it....

Hope this helps,
-Russ
