As already discussed several times on the forum, updates eventually come, but you can't expect them to appear as soon as the real life change is in place, because in order to do anything, we can't use just a chart, we need pictures, aerial screenshots, etc.

As of today, none of these are available on services like Google maps or MS Bing, you can't expect we would have them before they do, unless we set up our own aerial survey mission, which wouldn't be very good to the product price...

In this case, adding a underpass is even more complex, so I'd say it qualifies for a major update, like the JFK V2 one. At this time, the scenery designer is working on another project, so I guess we'll start discussing it after that one is released.

I see.  You're right of course, although I like to aerial survey idea.
I can tell you they did a really nice job so far and would be fun to see it in FSX/P3D when time is right.

thank you and keep up good work,

  Michel.

HI Umberto,   so revisiting topic after almost a year now.   Any updates forthcoming for FLL?   would really love to use the 2nd runway 10R/28L.      I drive past it every day and would be amazing to have in the sim.

Construction going on now is mostly in the terminals and other things not really of immediate importance, however, the extended runway has been done and in full operations for about a year now, clearly this needs to be modeled by now.   Could the AFCAD quickly be updated to reflect that?

Michel.

The KFLL scenery developer has been busy with another very long project so, I guess he'll probably revisit KFLL after that one will be finished.

So came to recheck on status for the update 2 years later.    Anything in the making?    It took them less time to build the real thing.    ;D
Would love to start using 10R/28L.    Can we at least get an update to have the correct length and updated ILS info?   At least get something going.

My previous message was in June this year so no, nothing has changed. The KFLL author is currently busy updating Geneva so, I guess he won't be able to start working on a KFLL update as long the Geneva update is done.
