Something is going on in FS9 with this scenery that allows certain textures to be transparent...

Yes, there must be some Alpha channel missing, we'll fix it as soon as possible.

Save the texture called JFK_det_07.bmp as DXT1 instead of DXT3, that should do it...

DxtBmp, pretty straight forward. Open the file, then go to save as.  You'll see a drop down box, select DX1 in it.

This should be the one:

jfk_det_07_lm.bmp

I'm not sure if we already updated and uploaded the installer with the fixed files, however, this is the last version that should be correct.

hey virtuali,

i tried the files, but same result. nothing has changed.
i also tried to convert the file to a dxt1 format, but without success.

any other possibility?

i purchased jfk on september 26nd.
any new installer since that time?

what about the suggestion to create an update-topic, where every update can be found?
best wishes,
sören
