Aegean in greece
« on: June 24, 2014, 09:36:07 pm »
Hi,

I'm wondering why OA (Olympic Airways) is operating on nearly all airports in greece? OA is inoperative since 2009. Is there a way to change OA to Aegean?

OA is still operative, since Olimpic Air took over of both the logo, the ICAO and the IATA code for Olympic Airways in 2009. And, even if it has been later purchased by Aegean, both companies are supposed to maintain their existing logos and fleets:

So, even for the future, it doesn't seem the Olympic logo with the rings is going anywhere.
