Author Topic: Taxiway lights and taxiway markers disappearing SOLVED (Read 8089 times)

This just started to happen recently, when taxing the taxiway markers and taxi lights disappear around me. They sometimes come back and sometimes don't. Any ideas?

Maybe you have your zoom level too wide, and so they disappear because of the LOD optimization, which depends on the zoom setting.

I use ezca and the zoom in game is set to .81

Anti pop up is set to 30, should i lower it?

You should lower it for your fps, but surely you won't see any pop-up with that setting. Please post the exact coordinates when this happens, so we can check if there's a problem with the scenery.

I see it now with every airport since one of the last few gsx and addon manager updates. Taxing at ord on taxiway M going east from runway 32L, at PHNL, PHTO, JFK, every airport.

Sitting on the south cargo ramp all the cargo pallets and taxi lights have disappeared. Never had this problem until about a week ago.

South parking 17 at KORD. Taxing anywhere at the airport it has happened at ORD.

View optimization was enabled in my fsx cfg file. I removed it and so far I don't see any popups.

Ok, good to know. That option is disabled by default in our installers, we only added it as an experimental and optional feature to help fps on low-end machines, but it's normally suggested to be kept off, which is the default.
