prior to the latest update, once I have created the new jetway and updated at the FSDT Control Panel and compiled the default jetway would disappeared leaving an empty spot and then the new created jetway will be reposition in it's place.
That's exactly what's happening, and nothing in the update (which update, BTW ?) could possibly have changed that. Of course, before replying, I made a quick test on our KDFW scenery, which is a scenery that comes with standard CTRL+J jetways and followed the same procedure explained in the manual:
- Selected "Customize airport positions" from the GSX menu.
- Selected all gates by clicking the "Airport" node. This selected 164 parking positions.
- Clicked the "Filter parkings with no jetways". This selected 134 parking positions.
- Clicked the "Jetway Exclude radius" checkmark.
- Clicked Apply.
- Exited from the simulator.
- Started the GSX Control Panel. A new Exclude XML file for KDFW was created.
- Clicked the "Compile" button. The Exclude .BGL was compiled.
- Started the simulator again.
- All default jetways in the scenery were gone, replaced by GSX L2 jetways.
If you did all of this, the only possible explanation is your Fsdreamteam Exclude area is not on Top of the Scenery Library. On P3D it's not an issue, but on FSX it must always stay on top.
