FSX with the latest version of GSX. The front cone is melted in the left and right engine.
Which is why, GSX has an option to move the engine positions in its airplane configuration editor. If you don't use it, it will take the information about the engine positions from Simconnect (according to the airplane.cfg file), but there's no standard amongst 3rd party developers *where* the location of the center of trust is supposed to be.
Some place it in the middle of the engine, some in front of the intake, some in a totally wrong position (I wonder how accurate their flight model would be...) so, the GSX airplane configuration editor allows you to fine-tune this. If everybody placed the center of trust in the same position, there wouldn't be any need to configure it in the first place...
When editing the engine positions, you should place the pointer with the "ball" roughly in the middle of the engine.
