Hello,
did you delete my last post about that?
I can not found that post.
Anyway...how can i decrease the Volume of the Sound of the Pushback Truck?
It seams to be connected with the Engines Sound, but i dont want to decrease the Sound of the Engines,
only the Sound of the Pushback Truck.

Your last post is here

The sound of the truck has nothing to do with the engines
There are two ways to lower the volume
One is to click on "Addons"
"Couatl-Powerd Products"
"GSX - Settings"
Then click on "Audio" and move the slider to suit
Or you can do it this way
Changing the volume in the windows sound manager
Click on the speaker in the taskbar near the clock and look for couatl
Then just lower the volume to a better level
This will lower the level for all GSX functions

Hello,
i tried this.
But it lowers not the Sound of the Pushback truck.
It lowers the Sound of the Voice Output of the Pushback Operator.

Try the second option
Changing the volume in the windows sound manager
Click on the speaker in the taskbar near the clock and look for couatl
Then just lower the volume to a better level
This will lower the level for all GSX functions
If that still doesnt work then the noise your hearing isnt GSX

Hello,
he common...the Sound starts if i call the Pushback, so it is GSX.
I am not stupid.
When i move the Engine Sound slider in FSX to the left the Sound of the PB Truck decrease.
So again, how can i lower the volume of the PB Truck or what is the Name of the Sound file?
If i have the Name of the Sound file i can Change it.

go to your fsx folder and then fsdreamteam\couatl\gsx\sounds
the sound file will be in there

Hello,
i renamed all the Sound in this Directory, also in the pushback subdir, which
sounds like truck or something, but it dosent work.
No idea what the Name of the Sound is.

No idea what the Name of the Sound is.
FSX\Simobjects\GroundVehicles\FuelTruck\soundai\xTruckRPM1.wav
FSX\Simobjects\GroundVehicles\FuelTruck\soundai\xTruckRPM2.wav

Hello,
Thanks for that
Matthias

Hello,
sorry, but it seams it is not the right Sound..
I renamed this 4 Sounds but the Sound are always here.
See the Video. I call the pushback and the Sound is here .. then i cancel the pushback and the Sound is gone.

I can only repeat and confirm those two are the engine sounds used by the GSX pushback truck. If you still hearing it, it might be something else, not from GSX. Lots of default FSX vehicles use the sounds from Simobjects\Automobile\SoundAI folder.

Hello,
thanks .. i will search...

I had the same issue and after reading your posts I thought I was crazy too. So I figured it out. FSDT, you will need to research your installer tool after installing the GSX vehicles. In FSX and P3d, the sound files for the AI are still left in the Flight Sim. You have your new custom models and sound yes, but FSX and P3D and still seeing the model and adding the original sound file on top of it inside the Sim sound engine as well. So what we hear is two ground vehicles. If you’re at a gate with 10 + ground vehicles nearby, moving or not, we still hear 10+ ground vehicles.
Here is the fix.
I had to remove two files from the Sounds folder. Mine were located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\sound\
Remove (don't delete in case you want them back) these too files. xai_singleprop01.wav & ai_singleprop01.wav
FSX and P3D use these generic prop single engine sounds for the ground vehicles. (Thanks Microsoft)... One is for inside cabin ground vehicle sound for the muffled effect and the other is the clear louder version for outside views.
When you remove these files, you can finally hear the true 3D sounds coming from the GSX ground vehicles. HUGE difference! I hope this helps.

FSDT, you will need to research your installer tool after installing the GSX vehicles. In FSX and P3d, the sound files for the AI are still left in the Flight Sim.
There's nothing "wrong" in our installer. Most of the GSX vehicles don't have any sound folder in the first place. SOME of them, which are basically cars, have a SoundAI folder which alias into the Automobile\SoundAi folder, which doesn't call any of the sounds you listed.
The issue is, you are using Prepar3D and, in Prepar3D there's a difference in how sounds are generated for AI, I think they use some kind of "default" sound for AI vehicles that don't have any sound specified for them, as most of the GSX vehicles are, because they use our internal sound engine, and this works normally in FSX.
This is happening ONLY in Prepar3D, in FSX there's no Prop sound covering the original GSX sound, you are noticing this problem only because you are using Prepar3D, but in FSX all GSX sounds can be heard normally as they are supposed to be.
We'll make sure this is will be fixed for the next P3D version, it's nothing we should fix on our side, hopefully we'll have a way to specify that a vehicle without a sound folder should't generate any sounds, like it was in FSX.

Hello,
i found the both sounds...cool, that works !!
Thanks a very lot !

Glad I could help.
Are you using FSX or P3D like me?
