Title: JFK Version 2 UPDATE for existing JFK users

JFK Version 2 is a new product, for FSX only, that can be bought at a significant discount for existing users. The product list price it's the same (22.90 or 34.00$) as JFK V1.x, and the upgrade discount changes depending how long ago you bought JFK v1.

If you purchased JFK before Jan 1st 2013, you can upgrade JFK V2 at 60% off, by inserting the following Coupon code in the "Coupon ID" field of the ordering page:
JFKUSER

If you purchased JFK after Jan 1st 2013, you can upgrade to JFK V2 at 70% off, by inserting the following Coupon code in the "Coupon ID" field of the ordering page:
JFKUSER2013

SPECIAL Launch OFFER, Valid until May 31th

Everyone, including those that purchased JFK before 2013, can upgrade to JFK V2 at 70% discount, you will still have to insert the JFKUSER code in order to be recognized, but that code is worth 70% discount until the End of May. From June 1st, the Coupon will revert back to the standard 60% discount, so you will still be able to upgrade to JFK V2 after June, but at a slightly higher price.


Coupon usage alert

The "Coupon ID" field will NOT stay if you go back or forward during the purchasing process. This can happen if you change the billing currency, for example. If you go back/forward you HAVE to re-insert the Coupon code, otherwise no discount will be applied.

BEFORE confirming the order, you will see a final page with the final price, allowing to check if the Coupon has been accepted. PLEASE, verify it has been accepted BEFORE confirming the order. There will be no refunds if you fail to check this.

E-mail changes

The system checks the email you are using to purchase JFK V2 that must be the same of the one used to purchase JFK V1. If you changed the email in the meantime, please have a look at the Esellerate support site here for explanations how to update your email address:

JFK v1.0 Price reduction

Starting today, JFK v1.0 price is reduced from 22.90/34$ to 17.90/24$, the product is still on sale, since it's the only version that is available for FS9. If you use FSX, we strongly suggest to buy JFK V2 instead but, even if you purchase JFK v1 now for any reason (FS9 user, system requirements, simple mistake, etc.) you can still upgrade to the V2 version, and your combined spending, thanks to the V1 price reduction, will be the same as if you bought V2 straight away.

Just purchased the KJFK update, had to change my email address because I moved. After purchase with the included discount (JFKUSER) code, I was charged $39.90.

How can I get this fixed?.

Hi,

Looking at the receipt it looks like it selected GSX, don't know why it did that. I already purchased GSX some time ago. Here are two screen shots showing the order of KJFK v2 and my GSX receipt. I blocked out some order, registration info and mailing address.

Just checked my credit card and no order is being shown nor have I received any email. Maybe the order did not go through?. Still not sure why I was shown my old GSX receipt. Should I wait a day or two and repurchase if it does not appear on my credit card?.

You can't be charged of $39.90 for JFK2, because its list price it's 34.00$, the only product we have that costs 39.90$ it's GSX, so you must have selected that one, and of course it can't accept the JFKUSER code.

That screenshots only shows you were in the JFK v2 cart page, and it shows an old GSX receipt. It doesn't tell if you really completed the order for JFK, and it doesn't tell that receipt arrived as a direct consequence of that order.

I think you simply must have confused your old email as being related to your current order for JFK V2, assuming you made an order for it in the first place.

It surely didn't do that, unless you asked for the Order history to be resent, which seems a reasonable thing to do if you wanted to check if your JFK V2 order was processed.

It seems that's the case. I've checked your orders now, and there's are no orders from you in 2013, so I guess it's should be safe to say your JFK V2 order didn't complete. The usual delay time it's 10-15 minutes, a couple of hours in the worse case, but if you still don't receive an email after that time, you can safely order again.

Not that this make any difference if you happen to order twice: we always refund double orders, there's no problem with that.

Hi. I uninstalled old version of KJFK and installed new version. I then wanted to put my serial key I got from purchased receipt. But it shows like this:

"Installed but not activate"

It surely doesn't show *that*, when you insert your Serial Number, that's just the current status of a product.

When you insert your Serial Number, which is done by selecting Fsdreamteam on the left and JFK V2 on the right, and pressing the "Register Serial" button on the Addon Manager, you should see this request:

"Do you want to activate Fsdreamteam JFK V2 on this PC ?"

and after you reply YES, you will see a dialog box that asks for the Serial Number. Insert the JFK V2 serial number and let it activate. After a few seconds, you should see either a success confirmation OR some kind of error message, if you typed the serial wrong, or any other error like problems with the internet connections, etc.

thanks, it sounded like an easy fix until I realized that I used an email address that I no longer use and have not remebered the password because it was a long time ago. I saved all my info when I bought it but that was not saved for the long duration for some reason. It was only recently that the email with order number "dissapeared". It was a long time ago and I did not think I would need that information ago. I remember the email address but not the password. Can you help me with this? thanks

This is getting more complicated. How do I submit a trouble ticket? there is no link and the troubleshooter does not end at a support ticket but at the end of searching. I can't get my order number sent to me because I don't use that email anymore and have no access to it. To change email address I need the old password which I don't have. It's just going around in circles.

Is eSellerate down? I bought V2 tonight and now I can't get the activation code on their website. Keeps giving me Cannot Process Request when I click submit. The code is automatically placed in the box so it can't be the code.

Are you trying to activate using the manual activation ? That's not the normal activation method, it's just a backup to be used in case your PC is not connected to the internet.

If your PC is connected to the internet, but the manual activation appears, it's likely another program, like a firewall or an antivirus or a similar security-related product is blocking online access to FSX, so you must turn it off in order to activate.

I was activating it last night and it didn't work but now it's working. I didn't disable anything.

The Coupon surely works but, if you got that message, it means you already used it. Since it seems you used a different email to register on the forum, I can't check your orders so, you must contact support by email, giving the email you used to try to purchase JFK V2, so we can check it.

The problem is not that you entered your email wrong, so the Coupon has been "burned" (it doesn't happen, unless you choose to complete the order anyway without the Coupon), the system is telling you have already used the JFK V2 Upgrade Coupon because you HAVE used it months ago!

I've checked your orders, and you ordered JFK V2 back in April and correctly used the Coupon so, no need to repurchase it again now! If you lost your purchased receipt, use the procedure in our FAQ page to retrieve another copy.

Thank you FSDT - I've been a loyal customer for many years now and got my discounts no problem whatsoever. Everyone that are having problems must read the information (eg. - email address different and correct coupon code not entered) and do what they tell you or else you will be charged the full price! You can easily tell if that happened because the discount will not show when you are ready to click the confirm button!

There's a Coupon ID field in both the Web page and the integrated purchase process in FSX.

Just be sure you DO NOT select "PayPal Express checkout" because, the whole point of the Express Checkout is to skip the page where you insert all your name/address, which also contains the Coupon ID field!

If you want to pay with PayPal with a Coupon, don't select the express checkout button, but go ahead normally, fill the fields with your data AND the Coupon, and then select to pay with PayPal.

I have v1 of your KJFK scenery and thought I could upgrade to v2. However I see there is a significant price difference between your shop and simMarket.
The discounted price (60% off) for v2 at Esellerate (where I bought v1) is around 14 euro while at simMarket it is only 8.45.

Before I decide to buy I wanted to make sure if there is a mistake in any of these shops.
Or if there is no mistake does it mean buying at Esellerate may be more expensive for customers?

Hi Umberto, Are the comments by Rafal correct? I looked at Simmarket, and while JFK v2 is 29 euro, it offers an update for 6.87 euro. if you purchased off them. I purchased off you, so i guess I do not qualify for the Simmarket deal..

- The discount is supposed to be 60% for users that bought JFK V1 before 2013, and 70% for users that bought it in 2013+. Since Simmarket started to carry our products in 2013, there wasn't any need for them to offer the pre-2013 discount option, since all their JFK V1 customers would surely have bought it in 2013 and beyond.

So, if you bought JFK V1 in or after 2013, you can use the 70% discount coupon code, but if you bought it before, the discount will be 60% instead.

- The Simmarket was still based on the 2013 EUR/USD quotation. We recently adjusted prices, but the JFK upgrade offer must have been left out, so we'll ask Simmarket to update it too.

That's because they don't sell the upgrade. We'll might talk to them, since it never occurred to me they didn't had the upgrade listed.

I've been waiting on whether or not fsdt will allow me to upgrade to v2 since the store I bought v1 from no longer exist, but haven't heard for 2-3 months now. Thought I'd post here see if we get a response.

I have finally decided to treat myself with the generous offer of 60% off upgrade from JFKv1 to JFKv2.
But my data is not recognised. Instead it says:
"The coupon entered is subject to order requirements that were not met. You may try another coupon, or proceed without entering a coupon."

I guess it may be because I bought v1 ten years ago and some data may have changed, e.g. my email address.
Unfortunately I don't remember any different data. I only know the date, the order number and the serial number.

I have contacted Esellerate support but they didn't help me solve the problem.
I have also contacted virtualisoftware by email but there is no response.

So I would like to let you know about my problem here.

Questions about existing orders should always use support email.

However, if you bought JFK V1 more than 10 years ago (it was released in Sept. 2008, so it's possible), Esellerate likely removed the order, in a silly way to respect GPDR regulation, see here:

I bought JFKv1 on the 18th of September 2008.
It was my first FSDT, second of yours after C9 Amsterdam, product (and I have most).

As I wrote in my previous post, I did use email both to Esellerate and to virtualisoftware but with no effect. This is the only reason why I decided to ask here.
So, let's cut it short in a definite answer, please: does it mean I have to pay full price for JFKv2 now?

So I have voucher about JFK license and order number.
I tried buy JFK V2 using coupon 'JFKUSER', but I could not. They could not find my order number.
would you check how could I buy JFKv2 with coupon 'JFKUSER'?

Your old JFK V1 order is registered to the same email you used on the forum so, there's no reason the coupon won't be accepted.

Hello,

I purchased JFK v1 for years now and I would like to upgrade to v2 but I cannot use the "JFKUSER" coupon. I have the following message : "The coupon code you entered is invalid. If you have questions about this, please contact the publisher." (and I confirm that I used the e-mail adress used to buy the v1...)

I sent an e-mail to the support (on 12th May 2020) but still don't have any answer so far.

May I have some help please ? I can provide my order number and my register serial for v1 if needed.
