After downloading the latest version of GSX i am getting the following prompt during download
"No internet connection available, Press next to use local bglmanx files"
in which i tried doing but still no luck.
I unstalled all airports including GSX and tried to re-installe but still no luck.
Please advise.

If the program says there's no internet connection, and you are sure your connection is working, it's likely a security software you have installed, like a firewall, is blocking it.
If you have such product installed, be sure you grant online access to the installer.

I can only confirm the server are working, and there are two mirrors running at the same time, on two entirely different servers, located in different countries, so it's really unlikely both would be down at the same time.
The antivirus is not the only software that can block a connection. In fact, the most common cause of this problem is a firewall.

After re-downloading in safe mode all is now working.
