Title: Any chance of a networked interface to GSX?
Post by: edward57 on February 21, 2012, 03:58:31 am
I love this software, it has increased the immersion factor incredibly but all the ugly fsx menus!  uuugh!...

could we please have an addon.. where all the menu options could be controlled from an instructor station setup (simple exe file using either widefs, simconnect or Lan based webserver) or on a seperate monitor on the same PC, so we don't have to keep bringing the menus up within FSX..

make it a payware addon if you want..  it would be worth it!

I feel that a great enhancement would be to ensure that user interaction with GSX could be minimised. Although a fantastic product, I feel that there are action sequences that could be automated.

We'l consider adding a network interface (not really a "network" interface, but more a standard API, it will developers that will have all the fun of implementing the network part...), but once the program features are all in.

We are still adding a lot of features, and doing an API now is almost guaranteed we'll break all addons products that relied on it.
