Hey guys,

I am trying to update my ORD 2.0 scenery and install Flightbeam KSFO also. I am getting this error message for both. Runtime error 98:835 104title=CHEP_LAP_KOk and i am unsure on how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi!

Sounds like a defektive Scenery.cfg entry (104) for Chep Lak Kok - (maybe one above or below)
Maybe some strange characters or a missing CR

Thanks Data, but i cant seem to find my scenery.cfg. I am on vista 64.  I would really like to fix this problem so i can get the scenery installed. It is giving me this error for all of the FSDT scenery.  I haven't been simming since the summer and i dont recall doing anything to do it

Edit:

I have found the cfg. but the entries only go up to 98. Not 104. Any help would be appreciated.

There are several scenery.cfg files, depending on the OS and where you installed FS9 (default or custom folder) and it's easy to be misled editing the wrong one.

Check both the following places for a scenery.cfg file:

- Your FS9 root folder

- The %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FS9 folder

One of them surely has the error.

Thanks for the info. It was my fs9 root folder cfg that was incorrect. Thank you for the heads up. All is fixed.
