Well I had 2 questions but actually found the answer for 1 by reading through the forums, but the one I can't find is will gsx support cargo operations? ie fedex ups etc etc

It was already discussed several times in the forum. There's nothing that prevents GSX for supporting cargo operations.

However, we'll not include them in the first release, but it's possible that, if the program is successful, we might create expansions for it with additional features, and Cargo operation is the most likely candidate for an expansion.
