Title: Blurry scenery
Post by: carloscane on December 28, 2010, 02:21:53 am
Hello! I just bought a new computer and along with it FSX and some FSDT sceneries but I'm having a problem. When I'm on final approach, I can see the airport but it all shows up blurry (see screenshot), this happened to me in DFW and JFK, I haven't tried in the others. Do you know what might be causing the problem? Maybe an option that I can't find? I hope you can help me.

First, be sure you have applied the Mesh settings as suggested in the manual, which is Resolution at least 10m/pixel and 100 Complexity.

Also, try to enable Anisotropic filtering on your Video card panel, at least 8x. Use a forced setting, don't let the application control it.

That fixed the problem. Thanks a lot! I guess I should have read the manual first, sorry about that.
