Hi, I recently reinstalled everything on my PC, and when I run FSX, I am getting a missing alut.dll error, what is wrong?
-
It's probably something related to your sound drivers, because it's an audio library used by OpenAL audio driver.

Hi everybody,
I have the same problem. Seems to be a NVIDIA issue, but I can't find a such dll in Google. The only thing I found was dubious. I would really appreciate your help, as both Zurich and Geneva are in trouble (no buildings). Very frustrating.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I found the alut.dll there:
http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/Downloads/Forms/AllItems.aspx?RootFolder=%2fopenal%2fDownloads%2fALUT&FolderCTID=&View=%7b6A9700C6%2d7248%2d4CD2%2d83F5%2d268F2C176072%7d
For a non professionnal seems quite tricky!
Anybody to help me?
Please?

Hi,
Just copy the alut.dll file into C:Windows. This solved the problem on my computer.

Another way to fix this, is to download the current version of the Stand-Alone Addon Manager for FSX, which contains the alut.dll file, in case is not included in your Audio drivers.
