... as verified by an unchanged FSLabs installation. I created a Lua script that monitors relevant variables FSDT_GSX_PILOTS_NOT_BOARDING and FSDT_GSX_CREW_NOT_BOARDING. They are properly set to 1 but pilots and crews board.

I've just tried that now, using a default airplane (those variables work with every airplane) and setting the variables manually before calling GSX Boarding, and I only see the Passenger Bus coming, as expected.
Are you trying on a gate with jetways, or a parking in the open ?

Is this something anyone can set/try or do you need special coding skills/tools for that?
I‘ve always wanted to remove the crew from the GSX procedure (pretending we entered as a group so they are already there when I „the pilot“ am doing my preflight stuff…)??

Right now, it can only be set programmatically (from a plane gauge or, possibly, from an FSUIPC LUA script). We might add extra menu choices to be user-controllable in a future update.
When doing it programmatically, the key thing is the variables must be set before choosing Boarding/Deboarding.

I get this on a parking in the open.

Hello, I confirm although the FSDT_GSX_PILOTS_NOT_DEBOARDING and FSDT_GSX_CREW_NOT_DEBOARDING are set at 1 right before calling Boarding/Deboarding, the pilots/crews still deboard/board the plane.
Here you can see the output of value, it is at 1 all the time

Found the problem, and it's fixed in the current Live Update, as explained here:
