Hi
I have LSZH direct from FSDT, worked ok until SU5.
Now I have MSFS 1.18.14.0 including hotfix and updated LSZH with FSDT Live Update:
But no gates / jetways at LSZH; what can I do? LSZH is my homebase.
Thanks
Peter / LSZH

I cannot reproduce the problem, see the attached screenshot. However, it seems it's not very consistent because, some jetways disappear depending on which gate you start the flight, or if you are landing there.
I'm afraid we fixed everything we could from our side, so it's now something only MS/Asobo could fix.
And yes, this is a known problem, it affects every 3rd party scenery with jetways, and it has been reported since the SU5 Beta started.

Hi Umberto
Thanks. Should I try to uninstall the airport, download the newest version and install it?

Shouldn't make any difference, the installer will always perform a Live Update anyway and the Live Update will download the latest version in every case. But you can try, it won't hurt.

I have the same issue, no jetways after the update.

Try to delete/regenerate the rolling cache and restart the sim afterwards...

Gentlemen, good day!
Thanks for the hints - I installed LSZH the day before yesterday in MSFS 1.18.14 and saw today: No jetways. Let the FSDT Live Update run: No Jetways. Deleted the Rolling Cache: No jetweays. Deinstalled LSZH and reinstalled it right now: Jetways! I have been informed using v1 and the installer pointed to v1.1 if saw this right.
Just for your information - thanks for making LSZH, FSDT - stay all healthy!

Hi Bert
Thats great. How did you uninstall LSZH?
I did it as you described and it works, the Jetways are back; thanks.
Thanks Peter

is the jetways problem still active today?

As already explained in this ( and many other ) threads about the jetway problem, we could only fix some issues but, regardless of what we do, jetways will still randomly disappear.
The clear proof the scenery is perfectly fine, and it's a bug of the sim is that, if you move away from the airport (either in Slew mode or returning to the Main menu), then go back to the airport again, all jetways will show, proving the scenery is fine, and it's just a bug of the *initial* loading of the airport, likely a side effect of the loading speedup optimizations introduced with Sim Update 5.
The problem affects every scenery with jetways, from every developer and it happens also on some default airports. Itt has been confirmed as a bug by MS/Asobo, which should be fixed in Sim Update 6, to be released sometime during late October.

And? Is this finally fixed with SU6?

Yes, jetway issue is solved as part of Sim Update 6!

And? Is this finally fixed with SU6?
Of course it is, it was never our problem to fix to begin with. It was a bug in SU5 which affected multiple sceneries from every developer ( even some default sceneries ) and it was fixed in SU6 without any change on our part.
Now, this on PC only. It seems the bug is still not completely fixed on Xbox, but Asobo is aware of it and they are investigating.

"Of course..." is not so obvious, Asobo did say they have fixed stuff before but in the end it was not fixed. Happy though that this time it seems to be true then ;-)

It's was obvious in THIS case, because I said it was a simulator bug, because we KNEW that, and we KNEW it was fixed in SU6, as soon the Beta started. As I've said, after SU6 came out, everybody got confirmation the scenery has always been fine to begin with, since all jetways magically reappeared, with no further updates required on our side.

Yes, in this case the problem is the Xbox version. In this case, it seems there are some differences that are not covered by the PC SDK, even when the Xbox LOD selection is active, which is basically the only way for us to guess how something will look on Xbox while developing it.
