Title: How Do You Handle These 2 Messages.
Post by: rsmith6621a on January 18, 2021, 03:46:21 am

Something new for me with FSDT.

How Do You Handle These 2 Messages.

I don't have these issues with other scenery updates. Only FSDT gives me a problem.

Happy New Year

Randy

The first one should be pretty obvious what you should do. As for the second one, the only thing I can suggest is to make sure you don't have any other programs running when you run the installer or updater (I don't know what you were trying to do). If that doesn't work, try restarting your computer and then doing what you were trying to do to see if that helps.

It seems they are caused by the same problem: you started the updater when the sim wasn't completely closed, so all the apps started by the sim didn't get enough time to close, and this can happen well after the simulator own icon has disappeared, depending how many you have and how taxed is your system.

A Windows reinstall will surely fix that.

Re-install or restart.
