After the last update that I did, I noticed that the airport terminal buildings have all disappeared from the smaller airports. I did another update but nothing changed. How do I get those buildings back again.
WIN 10, MFSX, GSX L2.

Sure, for example, MFSX, Canada, British Columbia, Abbotsford Airport, Cranbrook Airport, Penticton Airport, Victoria Airport.
They all had airport terminal buildings yesterday that you could park in front of, but now they don't. How do I get them back.

I don't see how the Live Update can possibly have anything to do with default airports ( or even 3rd party ). The updater doesn't change any of the default scenery files.

I agree, so where do I find the default scenery files for a particular city in MFSX so I can check it out myself.

There are several thousands of them in the FSX scenery folder.

What is interesting, all of the scenery for the small airports, except for the terminal building is there and laid out with perfect makings like parking spots, GSX service, surrounding terrain, runway markings, etc. but no buildings.
Something has changed big time and I have tried everything that I can think of to fix it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As I've said, the Live Updater surely doesn't change any files of the simulator.
The GSX *installer* disables default jetways and the default truck, but surely it won't affect everything else and, you said you only ran the updater so, the updater surely cannot affect that.

I agree, the only thing that is effected is the buildings in smaller airports, which is supposed to be in the scenery file. The rest of the graphics at larger airports are fine. I even changed my graphics card and nothing changed, still the same.
Is it possible that buildings in the scenery file for small airports is getting skipped over when it's loading. I'm beginning to wonder if something in my MFSX program has changed.
So, here's the question, will I lose my FSDT files when I re-install my MFSX.

No, but you'll have to reinstall them, since FSX ( I assume with "MSFX" you mean FSX ) doesn't have the handy add-on.xml file from P3D4/5, which allows to uninstall/reinstall the sim without reinstalling the add-ons. Or, more precisely, the proper add-ons that use it, like our own...
If you are referring to activation, it's only required when reinstalling Windows or changing major hardware components, like the mainboard or the CPU.

Now I'm curious, why do you have to reactivate when you change your CPU.?

Never had this problem before. Whether I start a flight at any of the installed airports or fly into them they are not there. In the addon Mgr it says they are installed and active. Not running any AV and defender has been deactivated.

Initially, opening Addon Mgr while at the airport made the airport appear, but now even that doesn't work

Well, for me it is still working. But, I have to do this workaround everytime I start the Flightsim.
To explain: when I close my P3Dv4,5-HF3 and restart it, then I need to redo once the workaround via Addon Manager, anyway no matter where I start first ( it works also when clicking the Addon Manager being on a different 3d Part Scenery, not a FSDT-Airport ).

I am having this same problem. While at an FSDT airport it will not appear till I open the addon manager in the P3D menu. This just started to happen after the last update. I did try to uninstall and reinstall, same issue.

I also have noticed if I adjust the time in the sim that will also force the airport to show. I wonder when we will get some sort of response to this issue?

I'm sorry, but I cannot reproduce the problem. Neither the airports supposedly disappearing, nor the airport supposedly reappearing when opening the Addon Manager. The usual suggestions:
- Configure the antivirus to add the WHOLE Addon manager folder to the antivirus Exclusions list
- Run the FSDT Live Updater again
If that doesn't work, try to see if switching to the 32 bit version of the program fixes it:

If you have issues with the 64 bit version, and would like to go back to use the previous 32 bit version in P3D4/5, change the Path tag in the Documents\Prepar3d Addons\ADD-ON.XML file:
Addon Manager\couatl64\couatl64_P3D.exe
change it to:
Addon Manager\couatl\couatl.exe

Why you shouldn't and, more importantly, why this should ever be a problem, considering you have 6 activations and the ability to Deactivate freely, on your own ?

I'm afraid the path change didn't fix it. The issue persists. Sometimes the airport will show up initially but will disappear if another vehicle is selected. I will try the "escape twice" now

Ok, I managed to reproduce the problem. For the time being, the best workaround is pressing ESC twice, it's 3:31 AM here now, so I'll have to check it tomorrow.

The problem is now fixed with the latest Live Update which came online yesterday.

Works for me. I however still get the trial period has started message. The scenery does not go away after 5 minutes so I assume its a glitch of some sort. At least the scenery draws without needing to force it to by Esc Esc.
