Title: Install program does not recognize the P3D v4.5 installed - SOLVED

I built a new PC for MSFS2020. I also wanted to install the P3D v4.5 and all my addons

When trying to download and install FSDT addons, It doesn't recognize that I have installed and activated P3Dv4 I am unable to select a flight sim to install FSDT airports

any ideas?

NEVERMIND! I had to reboot my machine. it now recognizes my P3Dv4 install.

I think you must run the sim at least once before you can installed GSX and, most likely, other add-ons, since their installers might also check files which are not present without running the sim at least once.
