Title: FSDT announces Bejing Daxing airport
Post by: virtuali on October 15, 2019, 06:07:44 PM
Our next project, the newest airport in the world. Bejing Daxing ( ZBAD ). Due to the unique situation of this airport, which is not present in any default scenery, and the particular moment of the flightsim market, we decided to try a new approach to developement and sale.

The scenery will be sold in TWO STEPS:

- A first step, will be released for P3D4, for a very low price, like 10$ or so. Expect a level of quality better than a default scenery and better than freeware, because it will be full PBR with custom textures, SODE jetways, a proper GSX profile, and Approach procedures, which will allow you to fly to this airport as soon as possible, hopefully before the end of the year.

- A 2nd step, which will be released during the next year, for the simulators which will be the most popular at that time, with the best possible detail you are expecting from an high-end product. This will be priced like a comparable product, like KORD V2.

Your initial purchase of the 1st Step, will be DISCOUNTED from the final product price, when the 2nd Step will be released.

Great!
I'll be going for this version (rather than a competitor's version) then.

Does this impact on your release dates of BSL and updates/remakes of LAX and JFK?

No impact on LFSB at all, which is almost ready.

Remakes for KLAX and KFJK have been impacted by the MS2020 announcement. It's impossible to commit to any long term project right now, until we'll know more about what developing for the new sim will entail. And of course, when we'll know, we'll probably won't be able to say it...

Very good idea!! I was almost shocked that it has already been opened. (OK, being from Germany, I shouldn't take Berlin as a reference ;D ). But the existing Beijing by WF was a disappointment, at least to me, so I'm really looking forward for this one. Thumbs up for finally switching to important Asian airports as well.

I've looked at the nav charts and rw19R/01L are the only rwys with 19/01, and also 11L/29R only rwys.  17L/35R and 17R/35L are the only parallel rwys.  I guess they're planning for more runways in the future.

Not really, it depends mainly how that area will be depicted in the next Flight Simulator.

All our new projects for the next year depend on getting more news and solid info about SDK for the next simulators.

I've read that they'll release a preview of the SDK in the next weeks, and the final version around March.
