Title: seeking informed opinions
Post by: Michael1 on October 10, 2019, 04:47:26 am
Is the payware DX10 fixer recommended? I realize that there would be no appreciable performance boost, but does it take some of the load off the CPU and put it on the GPU as suggested, thus freeing up memory?
I've researched it but have read so many contradictory conclusions, I thought I'd ask GSX users, FSDT airport users and those who use both in conjunction with ORBX scenery.
Thanx

You gave it an hour for people to reply, what do you expect?

The fixer was awesome in its day, but P3d came along, and then p3dv4 came along. When I used it, I didn't have ANY issues at all. It was a fantastic addon but I think it's better to invest in P3dv4 and go 64bit, then not have to worry about VAS at all.

I'm not sure my rig could do p3dv4 justice.
