We only officially support P3D 3.4 now. However, have you tried running the FSDT Live Update now, because there might have been a fix for earlier versions.

If you use the updater with admin privileges, try givinĀ“it another shot without those admin rights.
That somehow fixed exactly the same issue on my rig.

Now i run the update twice. One time with update rights, second time without admin rights. When i launch P3D, i have the error The Aircraft ... can t be initialized, you will be placed in visualisation mode only.

When i launch P3D, i have the error The Aircraft ... can t be initialized, you will be placed in visualisation mode only.

This doesn't have anything to do with GSX. It usually indicates the airplane saved in your Default flight cannot be loaded for some reason.

I changed the default aircraft and i get the same error. GSX still not working.

What do you mean with "same error" ?

This one ?

"ImportError: No module named sceneryAddOnMulti"

Or this one ?

"The Aircraft ... can t be initialized"

- If you still get the 1st one, the only possible reason it's a firewall/antivirus blocking the download, so you are not getting the update files

- If you still get the 2nd one, the only possible reason it's the airplane saved in your Default flight cannot be loaded for some reason and it doesn't have anything to do with GSX

That's your mistake.

By removing simobjects.cfg file, you also removed the lines the GSX installer/updater places there, to let GSX find its own Simobjects and, of course, if GSX cannot find its objects, it will report errors everywhere.

Reinstall GSX or run the updater again to fix the problem.

Could you please post both those files:

- your simobjects.cfg file BEFORE you install GSX ( delete it again, and let the sim create a new one )

- your simobjects.cfg file AFTER you install GSX

Also, please indicate the complete path of were that file is located.

In any case, it would be just easier if you sued the latest version of P3D3, which is 3.4, so GSX won't even use the simobjects.cfg, but its own add-on.xml

Sorry, but you "after" simobjects.cfg file cannot be one made *immediately* after installing GSX, because it contains entries for Aerosoft Zurich and Prague, and My Traffic too. Please do exactly as I instructed:

- your simobjects.cfg file BEFORE you install GSX ( delete it again, and let the sim create a new one )

- Install GSX and NOTHING ELSE

- post your simobjects.cfg file immediately after the GSX installation.

I only found the version for FS9 on website.

And that same page which hosts the FS9 download says:

Quote
Since 2017, with the new Live Update system, the FSX/P3D version of the Stand-Alone Addon Manager is not required anymore, since the Live Update program can keep all FSDT products which are currently installed, always updated.

Are you sure ? There's no such message in the current version of the Live Update.

Look says P3D not installed now

That's likely because your P3D registry keys are corrupted/missing, most likely by having used such dangerous migration tools. Do you really have P3D V1 and V2 and the two versions of FSX installed at the same time ?

If not, it's a clear sign some kind of migration tool has changed your registry keys, and this of course will confuse proper installers like our own, which require to recognize all the different sims individually.

If, instead, you really have P3D 1 and 2 and the two FSX, but the installer cannot see the V3 version, it only means the only corrupted/missing registry key is the one for P3D V3.

No, i just have the P3D V3. This is the only simulator installed.

No, i just have the P3D V3. This is the only simulator installed.

Then, as I've said, it's clear you have all your registry messed up, since you have keys for simulators you don't have, and are missing the one you have. That's really looks that sort of evil only migration tools can do.

Clearly indicating the migration tool you must have had in the past, has also confused up FlyTampa installer.

Sorry, but this is certain: regardless if you have or not the migration tool NOW, you surely must have it installed sometimes in the past, because that's the only possible reason why you would have fake registry entries pointing to simulators you DO NOT have, and the only missing key is the one for the simulator you DO have ?

This, or you moved the simulator installation folder, but still won't explain why you have the other keys for the non-installed sim

I suggest to reinstall P3D3 from scratch.

As I've said in my first reply, since 2017, there's no need for a separate Addon Manager installer, since it's always included with every installer, and the Live Update can keep it updated. So, why you keep asking for an Addon Manager, when you don't need one ?

We also updated all installers for all our sceneries. Try download them again now.
