I seem to be having the same issue mentioned on this other thread - http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=15946.0
The runway looks identical to that one. Only occurs on FSDT KCLT at night, not other runways.
It looks like the solution on the other thread was this: http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,15946.msg114633.html#msg114633
Hoping someone can help point me to a solution for KCLT, I've searched with no luck so far.
My config:
P3D, PMDG 737, AS & ASCA, PTA 2.62 (RDv1.5 preset)
Windows 10 64-bit, 3.6ghz Core i-7 7700, 16GB RAM, GTX 1070 8GB
-
Btw, I did run FSDT Live Update and reverted the PTA preset back to stock settings with no luck.

Anyone have any suggestions? ???

I don't see any problems, it's just the runway at KCLT use proper normal maps, so it doesn't look as flat as other sceneries out there.
Normal maps weren't visible at night, but then dynamic light came, and now they are, but it's an improvement over before, not a bug or a problem.
The overall effect is more/less visible, depending on the airplane used, the angle of the landing lights, their strength and their visual angle.
We test it with default airplanes, but cannot possibly predict how they would look with every airplane landing lights, and even your own personal reaction to them. I find them a *BIT* high side in your screenshot, but surely not enough to classify them as a bug.

Put me in the list of users wishing an alternate version of textures, because the way it depicts in my simulator (P3D v4.4) is extremely annoying and unrealistic.
Thanks.

Add me to that list.

I noticed it doesn’t happen at jfkv2. Maybe because of the age of that scenery?

It doesn't use normal maps, so it looks more flat, less realistic under dynamic lights and, of course, is less dependent on 3rd party shader tweaks and graphic settings than a scenery with proper normal maps like KCLT is.
