Title: Problem loading KMEM
Post by: jspringe on September 27, 2018, 05:52:34 pm
I receive Couatl errors recently when trying to load or approach KMEM.

I have tried Live Update and also reinstalled standalone addon manager.

Strange, do you remember where you were located ?

I have tested loading a new scenario at a ramp (811), at the current runway, and also flying in from another airport (Couatl crashes as soon as the airport objects start to load).

I'll try reinstalling the airport.

Nope, reinstalling from the latest kmem setup exe on the fsdt site did not fix the problem.  The scenery loads up and then within a minute or so the error is thrown.

Ok, I cannot replicate the problem, because I think it might be related to the PC speed (the timings between KMEM startup and GSX) so, we added a check to have the two waiting for each other, regardless how fast/slow your system is.

Try running the Live Update and see if it fixes the problem for you.

Still the same result after Live Update and a PC reboot

Any more ideas?  I never did see a version number change in the panic log.

Thanks

You don't see a version number, because the update doesn't require a new Couatl.exe. This problem should be fixed, and nobody else has reported it. How's your frame rate ? What other addon modules you use ?

Twice I have approached MEM and the textures would not load unless I restarted Couatl.

Run the Live Update again now, we posted an update today that should fix this.
