Hi! The moveable jetways at CYVR are not showing up at all (as if they were invisible). Only the static jetways show up. I have tried to use the FSX Airport Scanner, and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions please?
Thanks! :)

As explained in many other threads, the ONLY way to exclude jetways from a scenery, is with *another* scenery. So, you surely have another scenery in conflict, one that for some reason the Airport Scanner cannot find.
The most common case of sceneries causing such conflicts, are AFCADs that comes with AI Traffic products, which should be used only with the default scenery, but must be removed manually if you have an addon airport.
Or, if you use Aerosoft AES, it might be an issue with it. In order to work, AES must first disable the jetways that comes with the scenery first, then replace them with its own. So, if AES succeded in the first step, but failed for some reason to do the 2nd one, the result would be all moving jetways missing. If you have AES, you must contact Aerosoft about this, because both the jetway exclusion and their replacement is happening entirely inside AES.

Hi again! I still have this problem with the CYVR scenery. Any other suggestions, I really want to fly out of Vancouver.
Thanks :)
-
What other possible scenery do you have around CYVR?
-
The closest scenery I have installed to Vancouver is Flightbeam KIAD. I should let you know that besides Vancouver , I am having the same issue with LAX, JFKv1. They are both from FsDreamteam.
Thanks :)

No ORBX FTX PNW?

No

Anyone have any suggestions please?
I'm sorry, but the only possible causes are those already indicated in my previous post. Either another scenery in conflict, or an issue with AES. There are simply no other ways to exclude jetways from a scenery that uses default (not SODE) jetways.
Also, your message is not very clear. You say "Only the static jetways show up". Does it mean you see ALL jetways, but they don't move, or you see only a couple of static jetways, and none of the animated ones ?
-
Yes, only a few static ones. The animated jetways don’t show up.

Which confirm my previous reply: either another scenery in conflict, or an issue with AES. These are the only possible ways to remove jetways from a scenery.

Hello again! I am still having this problem. Is their any software that I could use to fix this?
Thanks!

Try this one:

I tried the airport scanner as you suggested, but it found nothing for CYVR. Any other suggestions please?

Might it have something to do with SODE or something, because I am this issue not only at YVR but LAX and JFK as well?
-
CYVR doesn't use SODE jetways, it has regular jetways in the AFCAD so, the only possible reason for them not showing up, it's a conflict caused by another AFCAD from another scenery (or an AI product), since the only way to exclude jetways from a scenery, is with another AFCAD of another scenery for the same airport

You said AI product. I use UT2. Could that have anything to do with it. Would me uninstalling FSX and reinstalling it work? I would gladly do it to get CYVR working.

I'm not sure if it comes with its own AFCADs.

Uninstalling the sim without uninstalling the product that is causing this won't change much. Try this utility here, and see if you have duplicate AFCADs for CYVR:

When I run this, do I put in CYVR and then find in the scenery.cfg? And should CYVR be installed when I do this?
-
UT2 doesn't add any airport files on it's own. Do you or did you have MyTraffic installed at any point in the sim?
-
No

I tried the link you sent me again, but it only shows EHAM (FlyTampa). Am I doing something wrong? Could there maybe be something wrong with the scenery, because I downloaded the Honolulu free trial, and the gates don't work there either?

This would be an indication of the opposite: there's nothing wrong with CYVR *precisely* because you have a similar problem elsewhere. Again, the only way to exclude default jetways from a scenery, is from ANOTHER scenery.
Other possible reasons might:
- You don't have the "Advanced animations" settings enabled in the graphic settings, a flag we automatically enabled but, you might have disabled by mistake
- Your Scenery Complexity too low to show jetways.
Other than that, it can ONLY a scenery in conflict. Totally useless to uninstall our sceneries, unless some of our files got corrupted because of an hard drive failure, but it would be *very* unlikely it would affect JUST jetways, even if it's still theoretically possible.

THE JETWAYS ARE THERE NOW! As soon as I turned the scenery complexity up, the gates showed up! Thank you so much!
