my system is W7 i7 6700k 4ghz 980 ti 6gb 24 ram my problem after flying for 15 or 20 min all disappear looks wear I read about GSX and sode I have all that I download the free GSX same NOT good NOT sure what to do anymore I use the FS global real weather and the polly pot app for my GoFlight modules I am Not sure if this interfiere with the scenery I need some help I saw the you guys can set up times and you can look in to my system that will be great
Do I need to purchased the GSX? thanks LEO

As explained in all the other threads about KIAH and GSX, you MUST install GSX, but you don't have to buy it, because it's free to use without any limitations on all our airports.

Do you have the Addon Manager AND the GSX menu under the "Addons" menu ? If not, do as follows:รน
- Disable the antivirus and reinstall GSX again.
- Configure the antivirus to exclude the whole Addon Manager folder BEFORE starting the sim.

Not anymore. We now install all the sceneries in a shared location, outside the sim.
SOME OF THE OTHER AIRPORTS ARE DIRECTLY ON FSX (KORD,KDFW,KLAS,KLAX AND KJFK )
That seems to indicate you used old installers for them. Uninstall them all, and use only their current installers.

whatever I do KIAH does not work for me after 15 to 20 min of flying the terrain looks very bad the bridges are gone there is like big holes in the ground I am sorry to say this the way I see there is only 2 options
1 we schedule a meeting so you guys can look in my system to find the problem or
2 REFUND my money for all six airports
Before I start playing FSX I play X-PLANE 10 never have any issues with the scenery like now I buy other items from other developers (flytampa and taxy2gate) and there is NO problem

If the scenery is not activated (in Trial), it's normal it would disappear, but it should happen after 5-6 minutes, to 15-20. Do you still have the Couatl/GSX menu after the scenery "disappears" ?

IF I start the Sim on KIAH Looks good But the problem is if I fly from KORD TO KIAH but the time I arrived the airport is REALLY BAD
Yes the Couatl/GSX are there I tried to disable/Enable and don't work and YES they are Activated .

I deactivate and unregister the SODE and now it looks 90% good my SODE version on FSX is 1.5.3 is that the right version? If not how do I update?
I been playing with everything and I think the SODE is what causing my problems

Well I don't know about other people But in my case SODE is the problem Seems to work a lot better with OUT SODE some items are missing like those steps with a blue cover for the erj145 but is better No holes briges are there So maybe you guys can look in to that

I just recently purchased IAH and am having the same problems as mexusa12. I have LAX, DFW, ORD and JFK and can install them with no issue. When I load IAH, there are no buildings and huge holes where the buildings should be. I have downloaded and uninstalled several times with no success. I have also tried downloading and installing with my security fire walls off. When I do install IAH,the Couatl/GSX menu disappears from the drop box when I run FSXSE. Please offer any suggestions.

I'm sorry but, if your other sceneries are working, it means the software (which is always one and the same), is running correctly and, the only possible reason of KIAH being the only one not working, is that you haven't installed GSX, which is required by all our sceneries that use SODE jetways: KIAH, KLAS, KMEM, KCLT, and KSDF.

Fsdreamteam and darthfinkles I check my direct x10 on my fsx box was Uncheck so I check the box and play again and now KIAH looks good No holes also fix my other issue when Undocking windows on moving theme to my second screen windows turn black now windows are OK hope this help others....
Fsdreamteam question ? When will the new KORD Be RELEASE approximately what Month thanks LEO

Hello,
I installed a new video card and when I started FSX I noticed KIAH had buildings but large holes in the ground. The same thing appeared with P3D. I did the following:
1. I selected my antivirus to allow the Addon folder.
2. Uninstalled KIAH and GSX
2. I disabled my antivirus and downloaded/reinstalled KIAH and GSX, registering SODE again. Now I have no buildings, only jetways showing in both flight programs.
4. I uninstalled all the C+++ 2005 and 2015 programs then downloaded and installed again from the microsoft site. Still no change.
5. I rebooted my computer each time a did an uninstall/reinstall.
6. The Addon and GSX are showing up under the add-on menu.
7. I selected to rebuild cache each time I made a change. Still have the same problem.
I have KDFW, KFLL, all of Hawaiian Islands, KJFK, KLAS, KMEM, KSDF, KCLT, and KLAX. The airports appear to be working properly. It is just KIAH.

I can only repeat and confirm my last messae: if your other sceneries are working, it means the software (which is always one and the same), is running correctly so, it's entirely useless you uninstall everything, reinstall, or worry about the antivirus, VC++ libraries and such: the only possible reason of KIAH being the only one not working, is that you haven't installed GSX, which is required by all our sceneries that use SODE jetways: KIAH, KLAS, KMEM, KCLT, and KSDF.
Of course, I assume you are using the current version of the KIAH installer, and you have installed it.

I turned off my antivirus program and downloaded your latest versions of KIAH and GSX. I then installed them under the administrator. GSX is working at KIAH but still no buildings. I have attached a picture showing GSX in action but no buildings.

It seems you have a conflicting file from another scenery too, because that ground doesn't look like the default scenery, and surely it's not the FSDT one. What the Addon Manager is saying about KIAH ?

I have attached a screenshot of the addon manager. I hope this is what you were asking. This shot is from my P3D sim. I am including a shot of KIAH for P3D as well. Both FSX and P3D have this issue.

Both FSX and P3D have this issue.
From your screenshot, it's clear the software is running, since you have the GSX menu, and the Addon Manager has found the scenery so, everything seems correct.
Try to enable Logging in the GSX Settings->Troubleshooting page, then restart the sim, go to KIAH, then exit. Then, open the Couatl.LOG file that has been created in the %APPDATA%\Virtuali folder, ZIP it and Attach it to a post in the forum.

Could you please check the name of the AFCAD listed in those two files ?
%APPDATA%\Virtuali/GSX\kiah-e33fee.ini
%APPDATA%\Virtuali/GSX\kiah-20v9ut.ini
it's on the [general] section of the file.

The 2 AFCAD files, KIAH_AIP_MINE_TEST and KIAH_AIP_MINE_06292017, had been removed from the KIAH scenery file. I thought i ensured these files were no longer in any active scenery folder in either flight simulator. When I had AFX scan for duplicates neither of these files appeared.

Are you REALLY sure you installed KIAH using the current installer ? If you really removed the conflicting AFCADs, there are no other reasons why the scenery wouldn't show up. Your log clearly shows everything is working normally.

I believe I found the culprit. As I was watching the install again I noticed "dontupdate" appearing then I remembered back in June of 2017 I had created this trying to prevent another AFCAD file I made from being removed every time I did an update. I did a search and removed all these files. I reinstalled KIAH plus GSX and now everything is back and working properly.
Thank you for taking the time and having the patiences in assisting in this. It is very much appreciated!

And are you sure you didn't get any errors when installing ? Could you please try installing again now ?

I was replying to your previous post. We must have cross-posted each other. Now I see your last post saying you found the cause, and it was the dontupdate file you created to prevent your AFCAD to be overwritten.
