Hi,
I'm testing Trondheim 2.00 in P3d V4.
But I noticed this problem with Gsx.
The vehicles are under the ground.
I have attached 2 photos:

It's the result of a non-standard way to support elevation. We can do a fix to support it, but we need to know the following:
- The name of the AFCAD that comes with the airport. You can check this in the GSX parking customization option,
- The precise elevation of the airport reference point, which you can check by opening the AFCAD file with an editor like ADE or AFX.

I can confirm that some vehicles (front baggage loader and push-back truck) appear to be invisible (underground) when parked at the terminal.

Try the attached file, to be placed under Addon Manager\Couatl\GSX\airports
If it works, we'll add it Live Update.

Great support, almost solved the only difference I notice in P3Dv4 is no dynamic lightning on the GSX vehicles everything else working fine.\
Tested at a different airport and it works fine too...
So only missing the dynamic lightning from GSX at ENVA.

There's really nothing we can do about this. Dynamic lights needs to know the ground location, which in these kind of sceneries is below the apron.

Ok note that the vehicles from the developer have dynamic lights hence the whole airport ;-)
Also the vehicles from PMDG have dynamic lights ;-)

What kind of dynamic lights are you referring to ? If GSX vehicles don't show dynamic lights *on ground* for this reason, no other vehicles will, but you surely have dynamic lights effects of GSX vehicles on the airplane and on the vehicles themselves. Just not from the vehicle to the ground, and this will be the same for all vehicles.

I'm talking from the vehicles on the ground and on objects (airplane for example)
- PMDG vehicles ground and aircraft and other objects are lit
- Vehicles from Airport developer also ground objects aircraft etc are lit
- GSX nothing is lit (objects or ground etc...)
- Place the aircraft to EHAM for example GSX is working ;-)
My point is everything is working as it should regarding dynamic lightning with the exception of GSX ::)

Are you sure you are looking at dynamic lights, and not pre-backed lightmaps that looks like that ? Are you sure you don't see ANY dynamic lights on GSX vehicles ? I can understand why headlights won't work on the ground, because that scenery has no ground, but you should at least see the other lights, lighting the GSX vehicle itself.

I also got the same problem.. but i used the "enva_aerosoft.pye file" from you..and now it works i ENVA.
It solved the "issue"

Are you sure you are looking at dynamic lights, and not pre-backed lightmaps that looks like that ? Are you sure you don't see ANY dynamic lights on GSX vehicles ? I can understand why headlights won't work on the ground, because that scenery has no ground, but you should at least see the other lights, lighting the GSX vehicle itself.
I'm talking about the dynamic lightning (not pre baked texture which is static to begin with ;-)) which should at least lit up the aircraft ;-) Which GSX doesn't do at that particular airport will test again ;-)

I can only guess that, due to the airport is made, the sim itself is turning off the dynamic lights, because it *thinks* they shouldn't be visible from their position.
The difference between GSX and non GSX vehicles might just be that, in order to NOT have any elevation problems to begin with, and wheels sinking into the ground, since many version, GSX vehicles are not created as flagged "on ground", which fixes a lot of problems when the AFCAD altitude is slightly different than the ground altitude, and allows them to pass over 3d taxiway bridges, which wasn't possible before.
This seems to have the side effect of not showing dynamic lights on such out of standard airports, where the ground is not where it's supposed to be.
