I just purchased the app for the iPad. It's fun, inexpensive ($2.99), challenging. It's by HandyPadSoft.

Using the Crusader F-8D/E NATOPS as shown in the image of text (with PDF pages attached) from:

I would round out the figures to 20 degrees is the Optimum Angle of Attack (or 19.875 degrees to be exact)

Will make a graphic later - it is similar to AoA Fast / Slow / Optimum in NAVY NATOPS. It is not clear to me if ALL the colours on the AoA Indexer are RED. I'll enquire....
